A network called to equip the Body of Christ
STORY
Risen Son Ministries Church was planted in San Pedro, California in 1985 by Apostles Emil and Cecilia Cedeño, who had entered full-time ministry the year before. The work began among gang members and addicts — two men’s rehabilitation homes (in two phases) and a women’s home, transitioning men and women from former lives into new lives in Christ. Over the years the Cedeños witnessed many healings, deliverances from demonic oppression, and several miracles. Most importantly: the salvations and transformation of the men, women, and families that joined the church. The 1990s marked a significant transition as they entered the apostolic and prophetic ministry.
MISSION
Risen Son Ministries Apostolic Network exists to establish strong apostolic centers headed by the governmental officers described in Ephesians 4:11–13 — educating, equipping, training, and empowering an apostolic people for the ministry to which they are called. Equipping the saints, gathering the remnant.
VISION
Fulfilling the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel to every person we encounter, making disciples of the newly converted according to Matthew 28:18–20, and expanding the Kingdom of God by recognizing, ordaining, commissioning, and releasing men and women called to impact their spheres of influence.
